Virgin Media planning a '3DTV festival'

UK's Virgin Media plans to have a '3DTV Festival' - offering 3D TV content from the 17th of November. They will offer glasses to subscribers (in their stores, and in Sainsbury's supermarkets). It's not exactly clear what kind of content will be provided, and what kind of TV sets are required.

According to the CEO of Virgin Media 3D TV is possibly more suitable for VoD than for a monthly subscription service.
