UKs Sky to buy 15,000 3D TVs from LG for sport broadcasts in public venues

Update: It turns out that LG is *not* selling 15,000 3D TVs to Sky... they will market the TVs together to pubs and other venues, but they will have to pay for the TVs.

LG says it has sealed a deal with UK's BSkyB broadcaster for 15,000 3D TVs. Sky plans to rapid deploy those TVs (in this spring) in public venues, to display live sport events.
