If you have a Fujifilm Real 3D W3 camera, here's a nice accessory for you: A folding plastic stereo print viewer. It allows you to see photos taken with your camera in 3D - and it costs just $14.95.

The idea is simple - just print the 3D photos in side-by-side pairs and put them in the viewer. It's cheaper than Fujifilm's own 3D viewer which is a 8" glasses-free 800x600 3D display that costs 499$.

Fujifilm's 2nd-gen 3D camera, the Real 3D W3 is now shipping for $499. The W3 offers a large 3.5" parallax-barrier (no-glasses) LCD display, HDMI 1.4 out, 3X zoom lens, a 10mp sensors and can shoot 720p videos.

Fujifilm has announced their 2nd gen 3D camera today, the Real 3D W3. Interestingly, they said they sold only a few hundred units to "a strictly enthusiast market". Hopefully the new camera will fair better (it costs $100 less, this might help a bit). I did saw one of these cameras used by someone in December (in Chengdu, China) - I wasn't aware that this was a rare sighting...

Fujifilm announced a new 3D printer, the "3D Print System". The system will be available in the UK in 'summer 2010', and it will be priced by April. Now users of the FinePix Real 3D camera will be able to print 3D photos using the new system which will be available in local stores (rather than use the 3D photo frame or order prints from Fuji which takes "weeks"). Fuji says that each print will take "minutes" and it'll be cheaper than the online prints available today.

The 3D prints are produced using dye-sublimation technology to print directly on to the base of a lenticular sheet. The prints will be available in four sizes from 4x6 inch to 6x9 inch.

The Fujifilm V1 Real 3D viewer is now shipping for 499$. The 3D display is 8" in size and sports 800x600 resolution. It's made for the Fujifilm Real 3D camera. It has 512Mb of internal memory, and also accepts SD Cards. It has an IR remote (and can also view photos directly from the camera via IR).

The Fujifilm FinePix Real 3D is now on sale in the US (for 600$). The 3D camera has two lens, and is capable of 3D photos (which can be seen on the 3D LCD, or a 3D display, or you can order special 3D prints).

Fujifilm has announced the US price and availability of its 3D imaging system including the W1 digital camera (599.95$), V1 picture viewer (499.95$) and 3D prints.

The prints will be available from mid-October, throught their web-site for around 7$ per print.
