The player uses Panasonic's new UniPhier LSI chip, and supports Full HD (1080p) 3D image. Adaptive Chroma Upsampling insures that colors will be faithfully reproduced; and all native digital DVD formats are upscaled to 1080p resolution quality. Features include the VIERA Cast Internet link, BD Live, 7.1 channel lossless audio, Dolby True HD and DTS HD audio formats.

The remote uses Wi-Fi, has a touch-screen and can show live TV shows. The 46" model (UN46C9000) is now shipping for $4399, including a 3D starter kit and a 3D Blu-ray player.
Amimon develops wireless 3D HD video transmission using WHDIIsrae's Amimon has developed a system that can wirelessly transmit 3D Full-HD 24fps video using WHDI (wireless high-definition interface). They are transmitting from a 3D Blu-ray player to a Samsung 3D LCD TV. The Blu-ray is connected to a transmitted using an HDMI cable, and the TV is connected to a receiver using HDMI too.
Panasonic releases new active-shutter glasses and All-In-One Plasma TVsPanasonic has announced a new series of All-In-One Plasma 3D TVs, the RT2B. They come in 42" or 46", has active-shutter 3D support (they include one pair of 3D glasses) and have built-in Blu-ray drive and Hard-Disc. Panasonic has also announced a new range of active-shutter 3D glasses. The TY-EW series come in different sizes (there are three, actually) and include sealed-batteries that are rechargeable by USB - two hours charging will give you 30 hours of watching. They will cost the same as Panasonic old ones, $149. They will start shipping in late August.
