StreamTV to show new glasses-free 3D TVs, to be available by Q4 2011

Update: The TV will be called the 3D1, we got a photo and a little more info...

Back in May 2010, we found an interesting page in Amazon showing 37" and 42" glasses-free 3D TVs ready for pre-order (the 37" model was advertised for $3,999 and the 42" for $5,999). The company behind them was StreamTV, which was unknown at the time...

Today We found a PR by StreamTV announcing that they will launch a new line of glasses-free 3D TVs called eLocity during CES 2011. StreamTV will also unveil glasses-free 3D photo frames and desktop computers. All devices will be available by Q4 2011. The company claims to have new technology that 'surpasses all other glasses-free 3D displays on the market'.

Hopefully this time StreamTV will be true to their word - those TVs shown in May in Amazon are still not shipping. The company has a website now, although the only available information is about a 7" tegra-powered Android tablet.
