Sony's PS3 to allow two players to each view a different image on 3D TVs

Sony is developing a new mode for the PS3 to be used on 3D TVs, which will allow two players to use the same TV, but each will view his own image. The idea is to use active-shutter 3D to alternate images for each player instead of alternating between the left-and-right image. This might require different glasses or emitters from the TV.
