Sony shows new 3D camcorder prototype, might bring this to market

Sony's EX3 is a 3D camera (camcorder, really), with changeable lenses. It's still in prototype phase, but Sony intends to bring this to market. The EX3 is basically two PMW-EX3 studio cameras. With three 0.5" CMOS chips, it streams 4:2:0 MPEG-2 video at 1080p to SxS memory cards at 35Mbps (two streams, left and right) or send uncompressed 4:4:4 footage over a new pair of HD-SDI outputs.
