Sony says 3D-TV broadcasts are possible within 2-3 years

A sony exec has some interesting comments on 3D TVs. He says that 3D broadcasts will be possible within 2-3 years. In Japan there's already a satellitel channel that offers 3D content, and in the UK, Sky are planning a 3D channel next year.

Many TVs sold today are "3D ready", requiring glasses. Special 3D TVs that do not require glasses are still a few years away.
