Sony prices their NX720, HX820 and HX929 3D TVsSony announced pricing for their upcoming 3D TVs: the NX720, HX820 and the HX929. All 3 series will ship by May 2011. The 46" KDL-46NX720 will cost $2,099, the 55" (KDL-55NX720) will cost $2,899 and the 60" KDL-60NX720 will cost $3,499. The NX720 are Edge-LED backlit LCDs offering active-shutter 3D, integrated Wi-Fi, are Skype-ready and has the X-Reality Engine and MotionFlow XR-240. The 46" KDL-46HX820 will cost $2,599 and the 55" KDL-5HX820 will cost $3,399. The HX820 are Edge-LED-backlit 3D TVs featuring Full-HD with OptiContrast panels, Wi-Fi, Skype (you need a web cam), Internet video and Qriocity, X-Reality pro engine and MotionFlow XR-480. The 46" XBR-46HX929 will ship on May 2011 and will cost $2,999. The 55" XBR-55HX929 will cost $3,799. The 65" XBR65HX929 will ship in August 2011. The HX929 are LED-backlit active-shutter 3D TVs offering Full-Array LED, Motionflow XR 800 (800Hz frame interpolation), new X-Reality Pro image processing and USB-HDD recording functionality. All TVs are web-connected with built-in Wi-Fi, and come with two pair of glasses and a webcam (for Skype).
