Sony developed new single-lens 3D camera

Sony has developed a new single-lens 3D camera. The single image is split by mirrors and recorded on two sensors. Sony says it creates a smoother picture. They will show the camera prototype next weekat Ceatec Japan.

The camera can capture 3D images quickly, and is especially suited for sport events. You'd need polarised glasses to view the 3D images, and without them you'd see normal 2D TV.

The firm said the camera, which is able to capture images very quickly, is especially suited to sporting events.
