Sharp shows their 3D mobile phone prototype

In the beginning of August, Sharp told us they're working on a 3D mobile phone. Today they are showing a prototype device. The prototype uses Sharp's own 3.4" (480x854) touch-enabled parallax-barrier LCD announced back in April.

The prototype also includes a 3D camera - using sharp's HD (720p) 3D camera module for mobile devices. Sharp hopes to ship the final phone still in 2010 - but we don't know any more details (like whether it'll be for Japan only, price and other features besides the 3D).
