Sharp shows 10.6" glasses-free 3D LCD panels, to start producing it soon

Sharp is showing new 10.6" parallax-barrier (glasses-free) 3D LCD panels at the IFA exhibition. Sharp says that the panel uses twice as much power as a normal LCD, and weights double, too. Sharp is working towards improving it, but they are also considering producing it as it is - as the demand is large for such displays.

In any case, Sharp says that we can expect products that use these panels in 2011.
