Sharp provides more details about their 3D Quatron TV panels

A few days ago Sharp has announced their new 3D Quatron TV panels. There's an interesting article over at Tech-On providing more details about these panels and the technology that Sharp used: 4-primary-colors, side-mounted scanning LEDs and FRED.

Sharp plans to start selling 3D TVs "before the summer".
