Sharp develops new 3.4" touch 3D LCD, to be used by Nintendo's 3DS?

Sharp has unveiled a new 3.4" 3D touchscreen LCD today. The resolution is 480x854, and it uses parallax barrier technology to make the 3D image. Sharp will start mass-production a non-touch variant in 2H 2010, we do not know when the touch variant will start producing.

This is very likely the display used by Nintendo for their upcoming 3DS console.
