Sanyo to release a short-focus 3D projector

Sanyo is going to release a new short-focus front projector, that supports active-shutter 3D (@120Hz). The PDG-DWL2500J can project images to an 80" screen from a distance of 32cm (the distance from the projection window to the screen) weights less than 9 Kg.

We do not know the price yet, but TechOn reports that the expected street price is about ¥450,000 (approx US$5,000). Sanyo plans to sell 2,000 units per month.
