Samsung may sell more than 2 million 3D TVs 2010Samsung Taiwan's president Smile Kim say that they are confident in their 2 million 3D LCD TV sales target for 2010. They may actually adjust the goal upwards. Samsung are currently shipping 46" ($2600) and 55" ($3300) LED-LCD models of their C7000 series. The C8000 series will start shipping next week in the same sizes (46" will cost $2800, and the 55" will cost $3500).
The 3D models will account for 20% of their LED LCDs (which will total 10 million units in 2010, according to plan, 280% higher than in 2009). Prices for Samsung's LED-backlit TVs are not expected to change a lot in 2010. Via Digitimes
