Researchers use pico-projectors to create a 3D fog display

Researchers from Osaka University used 3 pico-projectors to create a 3D fog display. Each pico projector uses a different image (from a different perspective) and so the final result is an image that changes if you look at it from a different perspective:

The idea is that fog disperse light differently for each angle, and this is used here to create motion parallax (the object changes as the viewer moves around).
