Researchers use 3D TVs to create a virtual-reality Heads-Up-Display

Researchers from UC San Diego have developed a new heads-up Virtual-Reality (HUVR) display using a 3D TV (by Samsung), a mirror and touch-feedback controller. They say that this simple solution actually performs better than the PARIS HUVR developed 12 years ago (and still in use). The PARIS costs $100,000.
