Researchers create a 3D display by projecting onto dripping water
Researchers has created a new 3D "volumetric" display (ie. true-3D with actual depth). The 'screen' is actually 4 waterfalls - made by water dripping from tiny steel needles. Each such waterfall displays a 50x60 image projectored unto it. They are using a single projector, that quickly switches between images for each layer.
