PGA Tour to broadcast golf tournaments in 3D

The PGA Tour has announced plans to broadcast golf tournaments in 3D. They have partnered with Sony, and the first event will hopefully be the Sony Open in Hawaii in 2011.

They will actually start experimenting with 3D in the 2010 Sony tournament. If all goes well, the 2011 one will all be shot in 3D.
