Microsoft has no immediate 3D gaming plans

Microsoft has unveiled their latest Xbox-360 console but they do not have any active 3D gaming plans. They believe that in 3 years, 3DTVs will only make up for 5% of the TV installed base, and this does not justify 3D games.

The Xbox 360, however, is capable of outputting a stereoscopic 3D image, so third-party publishers are able to provide content if they so choose.
