LG is working on a 4.3" 480x900 glasses-free mobile 3D display

LG is working on a new mobile 3D display - a 4.3" glasses-free touch-enabled LCD that features 480x900 resolution. The display uses parallax barrier. LG claims that the new display uses a new technology that reduces crosstalk due to the barrier price alignment to the LCD. This will also provide a wider viewing angle than competing displays. LG will use this display in their upcoming mobile 3D DTV set, leaked a few days ago.

This is not the first mobile 3D display developed by LG - back in November they showed a prototype 360x640 OLED display. It seems that the new LCD display will beat the OLED one to market...
