Japan: 130,000 3D TVs sold in 6 months, 4.1% of all TVs sold (37" and above)

According to the Japan Electronics and Information Technology Industries Association, 131,000 3D TVs were sold in Japan from April to September. That's 1.3% of all shipped TVs. If you take into account only 37" or larger models, it's 4.1%. Those numbers include TVs from Japanese companies only: Panasonic, Sony, Sharp and Toshiba.

The association also reports that only 18,000 3D-capable computers were sold in June to September - 0.5% of all PCs sold. They report numbers from NEC, Fujitsu, Toshiba and Onkyo.
