iPont shows a new glasses-free 3D TV set top box, to launch soon for $1300

iPont International is showing a new set-top box called the 3D1 that supports 3D TV content for glasses-free screens. iPont plans to ship the 3D1 in Q1 2011, and it will cost around $1300.

The 3D1 will be distributed by a US company (we don't know who yet) who also supply glasses-free displays. This will obviously be an expensive solution and iPont targets business that sell a visual experience as early customers.
