IMAX plans a next-gen 3D camera

IMAX plans to build a next-gen 3D digital camera, to be released in 2011 (with a prototype completed in 2010). IMAX has developed several analog 3D cameras, but this will be their first digital one.

Just a couple of days ago, IMAX announced plans to launch a 3D TV channel in 2011, together with Sony and Discovery.
