HiSense shows a 50" transparent passive-3D LCD prototype, aims for mid-2013 release

Hisense is showing a 50" transparent 3D (passive) LCD prototype. This is obviously not aimed for the home TV market, but rather for the advertising market.

HiSense aims to start producing this display in mid-2013, the price will be around $3,000.
