ESPN to launch a 3D channel in June 2010

ESPN announced that they plan to release a 3D TV network in June, the ESPN 3D. They say they will air at least 85 live sporting events in the first year. The first broadcast will be a World cup soccer match (South Africa vs Mexico on June 11). Other events to be produced in 3D include up to 25 World Cup matches, the Summer X Games extreme sports and college basketball and football. |
