Consumer report: Panasonic's 3D TVs are better than Samsung's

Consumer Reports (a US-based group) has tested the new 3D TVs from Samsung and Panasonic, and they say that the Panasonic ones offer much better 3D images. They tested Samsung's LED LCD C7000 and C8000 against Panasonic's plasma TVs. They actually say that both has impressive 3D capabilities, although the Samsung TVs suffer from crossover and ghosting of 3D images even with the glasses. You have to sit straight to watch the Samsung 3D TV, if you tilt your head the image turns black. They also suffer from smaller viewing angle as do all LCD TVs.

Plasma TVs are considered better for 3D, so this isn't a surprise. It'll be interesting to see them test Samsung's own Plasma 3D TVs.
