Blu-Ray format will have 3D content support

The Blu-ray Disc Association (BDA) announced its plans for incorporating 3D into the Blu-ray Disc format.They are working on specifications to ensure consistent delivery.

At a minimum, it will require 1080p resolution, and backward compatibility for the discs and the players (so all 3D movies will include a 2D version, and all '3D' players will be a able to load non-3D discs).
