Blu-ray 3D specs finalized

The Blu-ray Disc Association has finalized the Blu-ray 3D specifications. They have chosen the Multiview Video Coding (MVC) codec to store 3D, and all discs will be fully backward compatible (in 2D) with existing Blu-ray players. The Association also promises first products in 2010.
