BCN: 3D TV sales in Japan are "not too bad"

BCN, a japanese research house says 3D TV sales are "not too bad". According to their research, the ratio of 3D TVs in the Japanese flat-panel TV market during the periods from April 19 to 25, 2010, and from May 24 to 30, 2010, is 0.9-1.5% in terms of sales value and 0.2-0.3% in terms of sales volume. The only company that sold 3D TVs in that period is Panasonic.

When Sony introduced their own 3D TVs at the beginning of June, the ratio of 3D TVs increased to 3% in terms of sales value and 0.9% in terms of sales volume. This also includes the advance sale of Sharp's 3D TVs.
