LaptopsLenovo IdeaPad Y560d06/17/2010The IdeaPad Y560d is Lenovo's first 3D laptop. It's got a 15.6" display and uses passive polarized glasses using TriDef's 3D technology (which does not support 3D Blu-ray, sadly). Other than that it's got an Intel Core i3 - i7 processors, ATI Radeon HD5720 GPU and up to 8GB of DDR3 RAM. The Y560d will launch towards the end of June 2010 and will cost $1,200 for the cheapest model. Via Engadget Toshiba Satellite A66506/16/2010Toshiba's A665 is a 15.6" 3D (active-shutter) laptop with a Core u7-740QM cpu, NVIDIA's GeForce GTS 350M graphic card (1GB of VRAM), 640GB H/D, 4GB of RAM and Blu-ray drive (with 3D playback). It comes with NVIDIA's 3D Vision kit and a pair of active-shutter glasses. The A665 will cost $1599, we don't know when it'll be released yet. via Engadget Toshiba Dynabook TX/98MBL06/07/2010The Dynabook TX/98MBL has a 15.6" LED-backlit 120Hz 3D panel that use active-shutter glasses, and uses NVIDIA's 3D vision software and a GeForce GTS 350M GPU. It also include a Blu-ray reader that supports 3D content. Other features include a Core i7 740QM processor, 640GB HD and up to 4GB memory. The laptop is expected to ship for about ¥250,000 ($2,700). via Engadget ASUS G51J-3D03/19/2010The G51J-3D is a high-end gaming laptop. It has an Intel Core i7 processor, ASUS Discrete Graphics Engine (DGE) powered by NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260M, and an illuminated gaming keyboard. It includes NVIDIA's 3D vision, transmitter, and a pair of 3D glasses. It has 2 320GB hard drives, 4GB of RAM and comes with Windows 7 64-bit. Acer Aspire 5738DG 3D Notebook10/15/2009The 5738DG is a '3D' notebook that uses a software solution (Acer 3D CineReal) and special coating on the screen to make it 3D (with polarizing glasses). It includes a special suite of software called TriDef media player (play back movies in 3D) and TriDef Ignition that converts DirecX 9 games and applications to 3D. |
