3D receivers

Onkyo's TX-NR808 3D-ready receiver supports HDMI 1.4a for 3D video signals. It features 135 Watts per channel, Full-HD over HDMI (1080p) with 7 inputs and out output, certified with Windows 7 and DLNA 1.5 and has front-panel USB input for memory devices or iPhones/iPods.

Yamaha's new range of A/V Receivers all support 3D. The RX-V367 has 5-channel 500W surround sound (100W x 5), optional iPod/iPhone/Bluetooth compatibility and 1080p HDMI repeater with 3D (4 in / 1 out). The RX-V467 ups the power to 105W x 5 and has YPAO sound optimization for automatic speaker setup. The RX-V567 has 7-channel 630W (90W x 7) and on-screen display.

All the receivers are now shipping: the RX-V367 costs $229, the RX-V467 costs $329 and the RX-V567 costs $399.

The SR7005 is Marantz flagship integrated AV receiver with 3D TV and HD Audio support. It has a 400Mhz, 32-bit DSP, advanced audio processing, Dolby ProLogic IIz. It has six HDMI 1.4a inputs, supporting 1080p 3D video. It has an iPod-compatible USB input, Network jack for vTuner Internet radio/napster and Bluetooth support.

The SR7005 is now shipping for $1599.

Denon's upcoming receivers will all support 3D (HDMI 1.4a) and onscreen displays. Some support web browser and music streaming from Pandora (or connected PCs). The 391 and 591 have 5-channels, and the higher-end models all support 7 channel audio.

Pioneers new A/V receivers are 3D-Ready with the latest 1.4 HDMI connectors. Both include wireless Bluetooth for audio content, have 110 watts x 5 output and Dolby ProLogic IIz decoding. The VSX-820-K has 7 channels and also supports the iPhone (for content playback and control). The VSX-1020-K adds internet radio, iPhone Remove App and has a GUI OSD. The 1120-K has 120 watts per channel.

The new receivers are all shipping now (except the 1120-K). The VSX-520-X costs $229, the 820-K costs $299, the 1020-K costs $549 and the 1120-K will cost $749.

The STR-DN1010 is an A/V receiver that is 3D pass-through enabled. It has 4 HDMI (1.4) outputs, graphical UI and a universal report.
